These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Party Animals website and the purchase of products from our online store.
Party Animals reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the website.
2. Products & Services
Party Animals specializes in party supplies, decorations, personalized products, party favors, and related event items.
As many of our products are handmade, personalized, or custom-produced:
- Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and printing processes.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
- Minor variations in size, colour, or finish may occur.
- We reserve the right to make minor changes to products where necessary.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice.
While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, Party Animals reserves the right to correct any pricing errors and cancel orders affected by incorrect pricing.
Customers will be notified before any affected order is processed.
4. Orders & Payment
An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and cleared.
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or cancel any order.
- Limit quantities purchased.
- Request additional verification where necessary.
Should an order be cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued.
5. Personalized & Custom Orders
Customized and personalized products are created according to customer specifications.
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Verify spelling, dates, names, colours, and artwork before approval.
- Review all proofs and designs carefully where applicable.
- Ensure that all submitted information is correct.
Party Animals cannot be held responsible for errors approved by the customer during the proofing process.
Once production has commenced, changes may not be possible.
6. Production & Turnaround Times
Most custom orders require up to 48 business hours for production before dispatch.
Large orders, bulk quantities, or highly customized items may require additional production time.
Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guideline and may vary during peak periods.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery timeframes begin once an order has been dispatched.
Estimated delivery times:
- Major city centres: 1–3 business days
- Outlying areas: 2–5 business days
Party Animals is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Courier companies
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Strikes or force majeure events
- Incorrect customer information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
Additional courier charges resulting from incorrect information may be charged to the customer.
8. Expedited Orders
Rush production and expedited shipping may be available upon request.
Additional charges may apply, and expedited services are subject to production capacity and courier availability.
No expedited order is guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing by Party Animals.
9. Returns & Refunds
Due to the personalized nature of many of our products:
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless defective or incorrect:
- Personalized products
- Custom-made items
- Special-order products
- Digital files or downloadable products
Returns for Non-Custom Items
Non-custom products may be returned within 7 days of receipt provided they:
- Are unused
- Are in original packaging
- Are in resaleable condition
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the issue.
We will assess the matter and arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
10. Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before production begins.
Once production has started, customized or personalized orders cannot be cancelled and may not qualify for a refund.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content, designs, graphics, logos, photographs, product concepts, and branding remain the property of Party Animals.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
12. Customer Content
By submitting photos, logos, artwork, or other content for personalized products, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to the content; or
- You have permission to use the content.
Party Animals accepts no liability for copyright or trademark infringements resulting from customer-supplied materials.
13. Limitation of Liability
Party Animals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our products, services, or website.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the affected order.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from the use of this website or purchases made through it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
